I am Certified in Dispute Resolution by the State of Michigan
Mediation is a process in which a neutral third party acts as a facilitator in resolving a dispute between two or more parties. Often the problem arises from a situation involving a financial, neighborhood, workplace, or relationship dispute. Mediation can be used to avoid small claims court, to settle domestic and family issues, landlord-tenant disagreements, and endless other disputes that involve two or more people.
Mediation is different from arbitration. In mediation, all agreements made are completly voluntary. Issues are settled in private and remain out of public view. Most mediations require two to four hours depending upon their complexity.
Mediation fees are $90.00 per hour and are payable at the time of the session.
